In Memory of...

Pal

Hi Leah, we just wanted you to know we lost Pal on Monday, March 9th - We had him it seems only a short time, but in the time we had with him, it was filled with lots of love and we broke through to this old guy we found so sick and starving to death on August of 2007. During the time we knew him, his strength built up, with love and patients, was a joy to behold. He fell ill with what the Vet's think was prostate cancer and he grew very weak over a short period of time. On Monday, March 9th, he went very peacefully on his favourite spot by the door upstairs. We treasure the time we had with him and will miss him so much. With much love and gratitude to people like yourself, who take in the sick and unwanted animals of this world, we thank you. Pal was something special, with a gift of gentleness and a soft strength. It's amazing how forgiving these animals are. I know Pal's life before we found him was not a good one, and yet, all he had to offer us was his love. We will cherish and remember him always.
