Nikki

Nikki 8 1/2yrs old passed away Dec 28/08 due to the sudden onset of Evans Syndrome.

During the couple days before being hospitalized, Nikki was not feeling well and her companion Duke kept trying to get her to stand up. He was very distressed that his friend was not feeling well. Nikki recently lost her human companion and came to our rescue shortly after with Duke. She was only here a couple of weeks and was about to be returned to a family member when she fell ill. We only knew Nikki a short time but in that short time she entered our hearts as she was so loving, gentle and kind. Nikki, you were much loved here as you will be on the other side.
