Max is loving towards all people, big or small, and that goes for other dogs too! A kind and gentle German Shepherd, who is 3 years old. Max is a pleasure to have off leash and his recall is excellent when you call his name in a strong voice. This oversized pup has so much personality and loves to express it. Sometimes Max can be a bit skittish, but he can be set at ease by some reassurance and a pat on the head. He warms up to his surroundings quickly. Max is a curious boy and loves to investigate his environment, but is non-destructive and housetrained. He is excited to travel in all vehicles and isn't afraid of a trip to the vet. Water doesn't scare Max either, but he is still trying to get enough courage to jump in! This boy has had an unfortunate start to life, but thats not going to stop his spirit. Max will be a delightful addition to your home, and constantly loyal to his new furever family! Max does have some digestive issue that we are trying to figure out. He is very thin and has not been gaining weight. We are waiting on results of the blood work to see if he has an pancreatic enzyme deficiency. Will update when we have results. UPDATE: Max does not have an enzyme deficiency...now to do a complete fecal testing then blood work Update: Nov 6th...Max does not have any parasites...but may have Irritable Bowl Syndrome..more to come
