"Angie" is 14 months old, spayed and up to date on all vaccines. She is a medium sized dog who is a bit overweight but is now getting fit from a healthy diet and excercise regime in her foster home. She is a very sweet girl and loves people, has a great time playing with other dogs and does fine with cats too. She is a very smart, energetic young dog and will require regular excercise. She has a basic obedience foundation but should have continued training to ensure a well-behaved dog. She was surrendered by a family with 2 small children and was very good with the children. Angie had 2 seizures that were observed by the owner. After the first one Angie exhibited some disorientation and was also growling though not at the owner. The owners surrendered her to Vetcetera Animal Hospital as they felt concern about this aggression as well as their ability to meet Angies special needs. Angie is temporarily in foster care. Angie has had complete blood work and was started on anti-seizure medication. We are pleased to report that she has not had any seizures since starting on anti-seizure medication. Angie is a wonderful, happy dog who really wants a family of her own to love!
