Sara is a 4yr old female shepherd who traveled all the way from Mississippi with her sister Nala. Their owners could no longer care for them and were about to place them in a high kill animal shelter but we managed to get them on a transport to N.S. before that could happen. Sara is very affectionate and loving. She loves her walks and being brushed and if you are looking for a dog to be your shadow...then Sara is your girl. She would be great with other dogs. She is very attached to Nala but Nala seems overly motherly to Sara so Sara would do best away from her sister so she can flourish and develop her own sense of identity...or dogality, She is going to make a wonderful companion so hurry and come meet this beauty.
