Sam is a 10month old Shepherd X. What a wonderful guy he is, very affectionate and playful, loves other dogs and based on that pic you sent, I would say he loves cats too. The couple that had him previously had a little girl so I think he would be fine with kids although he might knock very small children down when he gets excited to see you. I think he would do very well in a home with another dog(s) and loves to wrestle with Dixie. He has done well in his crate but I would not want to leave him alone for long stretches of time as he would become bored and possibly destructive (the lady said he's chewed up a bunch of their stuff but I think that's from being unsupervised for long periods of time without anything to keep him occupied). He is excellent on a leash and does not pull at all. He needs to learn some basic commands but is very eager to please and would pick up training quickly. He seems to be house trained other than marking a few spots when he first arrived. I think he is a great dog and will make someone an awesome pet.
