Shep is a senior guy (7-8) who despite having a very awkward looking walk is pretty good at running and playing with his ball. His back legs may not have developed properly. Shep was taken from a high kill shelter in Georgia and was saved just in time. Many Georgia shelters gas dogs due to space constraints. Luckily, Shep was pulled out and added to our transport North.
He is very thin and seems to be bothered by other dogs so a family with no other dogs is a must for him. In his foster home where he spent a couple days he did not seem to bother with the cats. He loves people and REALLY wants to connect with someone. A quiet home would give him the comfort he is desperatelly looking for.
