Sheena is a beautiful female shepherd approximately 7yrs old. She has had a rough life and someone was pretty harsh with her but she is putting that behind her now and ready to move on. Sheena listens extremely well, she is well behaved on and off leash and gets along with other dogs and cats. She LOVES men and becomes very devoted. She will even direct you with her snout when she is trying to show you something. She would not do well if left alone all day but can be left alone for short periods of time 4-5 hrs. She loves her walks/runs but is not overly active. She is not destructive and would be the absolute perfect dog except….. Yes we all have an issue or two… Sheena can not go to a home where there is a lot of activity coming/going. She is reactive at the door when people come over so a household with children coming/going would not work well. If we are home and people come in Sheena is okay but still wants to react… but she listens and lays down. Once the people are in the house, she is fine with them. Fine with people she meets outside… If we are not home and my daughter tries to bring her friends in the house, Sheena will bark and try to close the door on them. She would be fine with a couple without a lot of activity in the home. Otherwise, you could not ask for a better behaved dog.
