Hope is a lovable 1 ½ yr old female shepherd mix who has come along way in the last few weeks. Hope was found wandering around the streets of Newfoundland scared and injured with a large gash on her head. Hope was flown here to N.Scotia arrived scared and shaking. During her first few days she would cower in the corner when we approached but would come and climb all over us if we sat down next to her. When we first walked her she was terrified of the big outdoors. Makes you wonder where she lived. Already, Hope is running and playing with the other dogs and learning how to be a dog. She will quickly roll over for a belly rub but is still apprehensive when meeting new people. She is a bright girl who would be a loving companion to anyone and would probably thrive with another dog in the home. Someone with dog experience and lots of patience is a must.
