Daisy is in need of a new home. She is a neutered, 3 ˝ year old mix breed (guessing Beagle and Lab) and medium in size (she is about the size of a Beagle). Daisy is a very loving and affectionate dog. She loves kisses, tummy rubs, being brushed and walks. She loves to play and run and would prefer a home with a backyard so that she can release her energy, run and play with the family or even herself as she is able to keep herself amused for long periods of time – raw hides help a lot! Though Daisy is a big ball of energy, she always loves snuggling up on the couch. She can be a huge couch potato in the evening! She would also prefer to be in a home with no small children. She loves to look out the window at the passing cars and people. It is one of her favorite things to do, besides playing with her stuffed animals and squeaky toys. She is crated during the day for the time being, since we are in an apartment, though she is more comfortable having the run of the house and sleeping on the couch all day until you come home. She is as well crated for bedtime. She is most comfortable in there and sleeps through the entire night. She is also crated during meal times. She has shown small amount of food aggression when we first adopted her, and though she has gotten better we do prefer her in her own area during mealtime. Daisy gets along well with other dogs and loves to play. Both small and large breeds, she is very gentle. Though she was living with a cat in her previous home, she doesn’t seem to take a liking to cats initially though with a little warming up, she makes a wonderful friend. She is very smart and has great potential. She lets you know when she needs to go to the washroom or if she wants to go outside and let out a little energy. She loves car rides too!
